A system for the in-line analysis of beer.

A moduler system has been devised for the in-line analysis of beer for alcohol, original gravity, calories, carbon dioxide, and dissolved oxygen. Also, the system acts as a control device for most of the above variables. The analysis techniques are based on the use of commercially available instruments. The operation and reading of these instruments, plus the calculation and control of process variables is under control of a heirarchy of computers. The system can be expanded to include additional analyses of the types described and can adapt to the inclusion of new analyses as they become desirable.
