Design and development of new malting facilities.

Abstract
The considerations which were taken into account by Dominion Malting when designing a new maltings are discussed. The advantages and disadvantages of continuous systems and the Fleximalt system are listed, and it was decided to build a Fleximalt system, the contruction of which is illustrated. In this system drying is carried out in the compartment where the germination takes place, thus eliminating a kiln building.
